  • Called them out to replace filters on my RO system and to check out my water softener. The tech was polite enough and did good work on the RO (that he said was old and needed replaced before the plastic cracked -- even thought it's barely five years old), but said our water softener unit was really old and broken and needed replaced -- in fact, it was so bad that he cranked the bypass valves and took it out of service. He said he could replace it this week if I needed. Well, the softener is five years old and runs fine. Had the manufacturer send a tech to check it out. It was operating A-ok - no problem. The work on the RO was fine if a bit pricey, but felt like I was getting the hard sell to upgrade everything the whole time he was there.
