I stopped into Alpine Liquors after a quick search on the New Holland Brewing Company's website to see who carries Ichabod, which had just released for the fall. I expected to come in, grab my beer, pay, and leave. I ended up with additional beer as a result of excellent customer service and a friendly staff.
The staff really know their beer and have an extensive selection of craft beers. If you are looking for beer beyond the typical selection, Alpine is an excellent choice.
Before I rung up I was told about the store's beer club, which gives you access to limited releases and rarer beer in the back. The backroom thing may seem elitist at first, but joining the beer club is completely free. I joined that day and was immediately given access. I was able to pick up some great out of state brews.
The owner even split up some six packs for me so I could make my own pack out of some of the beers I was looking at. The make your own six pack rang in at $8.99, which is a very great rate and cheaper than you'll find at local grocery stores.
Between the unique selection and knowledgeable, friendly staff Alpine officially has my beer business.
