I was excited to have a locally owned butcher shop in the neighborhood again. Went and picked up a few steaks (Angus as the wagyu was sold out) a few weeks ago (Jan 30th) and we ended up pretty disappointed. For the price per pound, I was expecting a lot less gristle and connective tissue. Nick was extremely friendly though. Technically, they're closed Tuesdays but he was nice enough to let myself and few other customers buy meat. I'll probably try them again, but maybe get some wagyu beef or pork next time.
