  • Whether it's gym clothes, suits, boots or accessories- Burlington is one of my first stops because it pretty much has it all. The best part of all is that you can choose from a variety of designer brands at really great prices, to say the least. In all honesty I would say all of my purchases from here are STEALS. I must admit, one of the downsides to this store is that if you're a little OCD like me, you will not stand the mess. I get it- it's a big store, people don't put things back where they find them and even worse during the holiday season. But there is not even ONE instance where I can remember this store being the slightest bit clean. So pretty much when you come to Burlington two things are essential: Time and Patience. If you want to find some great buys you really have to have time and look- and also disregard the mess. The mess is definitely not the only factor that contributes to my rating- You better hope that you don't need any assistance while you're shopping, because the associates unfortunately aren't much help. The instance in particular involved the Assistant Manager, Virginia. I was directed to meet an associate at the shoe department because I needed assistance finding a certain size in the boots I liked. When I arrived, Virginia's response was "We don't have that boot the system isn't updated, what ever is out is all we have". Didn't even offer to help me look, but whatever. No thanks to her and after trials and tribulations, I found the boots. The only thing she seemed to be good at doing was yelling at the employees and ordering them on what to do- extremely unprofessional. She also made it clear through the radio that "We do not tell our customers we have things". I obviously knew that the item could be in layaway, what I was looking for was someone who could help me look. And on top of it- the lines are ridiculous. It amazes me how they have so many lanes and staff however they can not manage wait times. Every time I stop in I'm in line for at least 15 mins. So basically if you're shopping at Burlington, 99% of the time you're on your own. If you're okay not getting any sort of customer service most of the time and shopping in a mess, then Burlington is awesome. Once again, great deals, which is why I continue to shop here, but I just keep in mind what I'm getting myself into.
