This is the first group of doctors that I've had so far that I have been absolutely 100% pleased with! I see Dr. Grant Padley for severe osteoarthritis in my hip, and he has been phenomenal! Apparently I'm known as a 'special case' around the office (I'm only 20) and generally also see a nurse or two and his physicians assistant before Dr. Padley comes in. All of the nurses are very pleasant and kind, and his physicians assistant (I wish I remembered his name!) has been great as well.
Dr. Padley is generally the doctor I see the most. I've also seen Dr. Zoltan for a number of hip injections, and while he isn't very talkative, I've never had any problems after getting an injection done by him! He's very precise and lets me know when and where he's going to do the injection instead of just sticking me like doctors have in the past. Dr. Padley is also the first orthopedic I've seen who has been completely up front about my treatment regimen. He has not babied me, so to speak, and has let me know the severity of my arthritis without sounding negative or disheartened. He has also always given me the final call on medications and treatments, and has never tried to push me in one direction or another when deciding on new treatments.
Dr. Padley and I both recently decided it would be best to look into getting a total hip replacement fairly soon, and I am going through TOCA to have one of their surgeons do the procedure. I meet with Dr. Duhon later this month and feel very good about the surgery thus far. Based on my experience with Dr. Padley, I couldn't be happier at the possibility of another TOCA doctor performing my surgery.
