  • I wish I could give a place 6 stars. Since I first wrote a year ago, I still frequent Solon Nail when I am in the suburbs. I firmly think they are the best in Solon. Kathy and Chi are both wonderful. You can see my review below about the time another local salon botched my nails and I came to Solon Nail same day pretty much in tears. Kathy fixed my nails perfectly. The gals in here are so funny and nice and know their stuff! Since then, I have been a continuous client. They are so flexible with scheduling and have always been able to fit me in the same day. The appointments are fast but they never compromise quality. Kathy is the best! She is so knowledgeable about what she's doing and cares about her clients. I usually get a gel manicure but recently tried the SNS Dip Powder nails. They are different than what I'm used to, but far so good (it's like a cross between gel manicure and acrylic). They are currently one of the only salons in the area doing this, in case you're looking for dip powder nails. I'm not super adventurous with nail art, but I always see gals leaving with beautiful designs, accent nails, and other cool nail art. So whether you are looking for well-done gel nails or funky and interesting nail art, I highly recommend Solon Nail. I can't tell you how much better I feel after I leave!
