  • We adopted our kitten from here, the staff was friendly and there were lots of cats and kittens to choose from. Aside from everything we were told to sanitize our hands after every time we touch a cat or kitten. Because some of them were sick. I was a bit Leary about that but we proceeded to search for our new family member anyway. We decided to find a kitten that hasn't been exposed to the other cats or kittens as long (a new arrival) we thought maybe there would of been less chances of him/her being sick or coming down with what the other cats have. Needless to say that approach didn't work. We ended up adopting pop and named him Grim-Lynn. When we brought him home after he got fixed we noticed right away that he was very warm and sneezing a lot. We took him to the vet where he had a fever. The vet said he had a virus and gave us an antibiotic. After talking to a few people who had adopted from this place I began to notice they all experienced the same thing. They all adopted sick cats or kittens. That's horrible ! I am disappointed that the kittens or cats aren't being cared for properly. I have adopted numerous times through different animal foundations in a different state and never did I experience this. Not only did I adopt a sick kitten but now my older cat is sick too resulting in more vet bills then we were prepared to handle.
