We went here for a date night this past weekend. The food was excellent, and the service was great. My tenderloin was perfectly cooked, as was my husband's ribeye. The docking of a star is mostly because for the prices we paid, I expect the ambiance to be better. Gallery feels very much like an average (not even resort) hotel restaurant, with a "view" of a hallway and unattractive decor. The bar is very nice, but the dining area is exceptionally plain.
Still, my husband hasn't stopped raving about the popovers, and the food and service were truly great. The wine list was also spectacular.
