Oh dear! That is what slipped out of my mouth as we walked into the hotel. For the price, and compared to any other place we have ever stayed (and my husband travels a LOT) this was the worst place we have ever been. It is OLD, the ceilings are so low it felt like a cave, there is literally no lobby, it was humid and HOT, and that was before we even ventured through the LONG hallway to get to the very OLD elevator. The room was clean, but dated. That is about all I can say. For the price, we could have stayed at a number of MUCH nicer places, but we were stuck there because my husband had to go to a seminar in the hotel. Just to underline the point, the guy running the seminar announced to the whole group of miserable SOBs that just had to stay in the hotel that he had seen how crappy it was and had decided to stay in a nicer place down the road... I would have gone postal if I had been in the room!
