| - You leave your hotel in the morning, ready to begin your day and conquer the world. You return tired, sweaty, and ready for a shower and bed.
Except, you get to your hotel room and your key doesn't work. Annoyed, you return to the front desk, where they issue you a new one. When you get back to your room, you find that they have packed up all of your stuff, put it in trash bags, and thrown away most of your toiletries. Because they didn't merge the two different reservations on your account, so they thought you had left your laptop and suitcase and other belongings in the room permanently.
You check your phone--they must have called? No. They're sorry about the inconvenience, sure. They'll give you one of the razors they keep behind the desk for emergencies.
But do you trust them again? Probably not.
