  • I have been here a couple times both when they first opened and again his past summer with the whole family. I must say that compared to several other aquariums, it has some room for improvement. The parking can be tough because it's in the same parking lot as Concord Mills Mall, but that's out of their control. Once inside, we were greeted by a hostess, but that was all. She checked us in and gave the kids their maps to stamp/crimp the various animal shapes as we made our way through the exhibits. The restrooms were on the other side of the gift shop and not easily marked. They were not busy while we were there which is nice. The exhibits were very well kept, but lacked much excitement for the whole group. We had ages 2-adult checking it out so a wide range of interests. The kids did love the underwater area where they could stand up in the globes to see the fish! My nephew sang "Under the Sea" while he played. Overall, it was okay, but considering we drove an hour to see it I think I'll go somewhere else next time. The chaos of the mall was also a little tough when it came time to eat lunch because the food court was packed. I think if in a free-standing location they would be better off.
