| - Finally decided to upgrade to a decent haircut from my "budget cut" standard. I really had no idea what I wanted, so showed up at roosters and basically just asked for a "nice professional cut, that is also modern." Brooke was my stylist, and took a swing at it and did a fantastic job and was a pleasure to hang out with for the 45 minute cut. I went to Brooke again, and we worked on editing the cut a little bit which I was very happy with again.
Due to a scheduling mismatch, I couldn't get Brooke on a Saturday, and got Amy instead. She was able to do a great job again, and recreate the cut with her own twist, and even trimmed up the fade of the cut into my beard, and trimmed my eyebrows a bit. I stuck with Amy as the stylist, and after three visits, my willIngness to trust whatever she wanted to do, and some refinement to the cut, we NAILED it, and I have the cut that I could only hope for, even though I had no clue what I wanted when I started.
Bottom line, all the stylists are highly skilled, can get you the cut you want whether you know what that is or not, and are a pleasure to hang out with for the duration of the cut. The facilities are top notch, and I would recommend this place, and BOTH Amy and Brooke to anyone looking for a great cut!
(Side note) The staff is highly responsive to customer needs. They carry great hair products and soap from Aveda, and after I requested some beard products to manage my manly mane, they responded and have some great products in route to be stocked at the shop. Woohoo!
