  • This a great spot for brunch. That being said, prepare to wait, and not just on a weekend - the weekdays are busy as well. I enjoy how they change the menu with what is seasonal, although I'm always sad when I fall in love with a dish and then it's gone... ;). The reason I went with 4 stars is because as one of my dining partners today said, "Square Cafe is really amazing 1 out of every 4 times," and, honestly, I would agree with her. Sometimes the dinning experience is straight up Mary Poppins (practically perfect in every way), and sometimes it's just good. Though square Cafe's "just good" is already way above the curve in comparison to other spots in town, even when it's not at it's best. You should go; it's definitely worth a stop - even though I regret adding to the lines... :)
