  • This is a great neighbourhood pub. We live a few blocks away and come here often. The specials are where it's at - $5 burger on Mondays and happy hour beers? Yes please! They also have a great steak sandwich special on Fridays. The food is better than most pubs but has the same 'pub' atmosphere that I love. The downtown location feels too chain-restauranty to me but this location is the perfect level of dark, comfortable and pub-ish (that's a thing). It bears repeating that the food is awesome too. Lots of pork centric dishes and some delicious burgers too. The noodle bowl is also amazing with lots of pork belly and gyoza. The Caesar salad with candied bacon is fantastic too. The prices are a bit high after happy hour but that seems to be the norm in Calgary these days. Service has always been fairly good too.
