| - This was my first time actually coming to the Carnival World Buffet, yes even after living here for the past 3.5 years.
Funny story...This was actually a first date dinner :P I mean seriously, who goes to a buffet on a first date?! I do, that's who! Any woman who is willing to eat at a buffet on a first date, is my kind of woman! I love a woman who is not afraid to eat in front of me.
First off, they serve Pepsi products...BOO!!! The pizza was pretty tasty. The pasta & meat sauce wasn't too bad, better than most buffets I have been to. The peel & eat scrimps were very good. I don't think I would ever get the snow crab legs here again though. Too much work, for not much of a reward. The Asian section was OK. The soups were pretty good, for buffet. Egg & Udon noodle combo, Yum!
Finally, the dessert...Tiramisu & coconut gelato, red velvet cake, carrot cake, chocolate cake & a chocolate eclair. The gelato was very good. The cakes were actually moist, not like the dry ones you find at other buffets around town. The eclair was OK. The filling wasn't anything special &kind of thick.
Overall, the buffet was fairly decent. I would definitely come back & would recommend it as well. Especially to take advantage of the Locals discount ;)
Oh & P.S. The date went very well & there will probably be more in the future :D
