  • Love the donuts and cinnamon rolls. Sadly, they run out too quickly and never seem to do anymore that day. It's 8:27 am! You would think they'd have enough to cover breakfast, since that's when people generally eat them. And this is the third time in less than 2 months that this has happened. Sad really. What good is great product if you don't have it to sell? Good baking, bad management? Update: My wife went in today, to get me a donut and a cinnamon roll. Second day in a row, and fourth consecutive visit, none to be had! My wife was told "they always sell out". I used to work in the food industry and I know that "they always sell out" really means "not making more in case I have to toss some away". But there is more profit in making the sale than there is in me walking out with nothing at all. Bartram's will lose customers if they continue that inventory control-type behavior. Update -- Fourth consecutive visit. 9:20 in the morning. Pretty common breakfast time. Again no donuts! Must be really hard making a TINY quantity of ONE kind of donut. And again, no cinnamon rolls! Guess they ran out of the ridiculously small quantity that they felt like making this morning. Market District here I come!! They will have delicious stuff that is actually there, actually in the case, to purchase Update: 5th consecutive visit. Again no donuts!!!! It's starting to feel personal. Best donut in the Pittsburgh area and they never have them. Was told they didn't even make them this time. But at least they had cinnamon rolls today. Not a total loss . . . I guess. 7/17 Update -- Two visits in a row WITH donuts and cinnamon rolls. Delicious as ever. Thank you for listening. Thank you for fixing the problem! 8/8/17 Update -- 8:00 in the morning. No donuts again. What a business. I'm done. Plenty of other bakeries and donut sellers around here. And they always seem to have donuts . . . even at the odd breakfast hour of 8 am!!
