  • Well i am not a big flea market fan but once in a while I get the urge to head down here. After all there used to be a bird breeder here and I bought Cody from her..but that was 12 years ago. I have also an oriental fan which still hangs on the wall above my dinette set. In recent years the flea market has changed into a more latin foods market and lesser name clothing store but you can still find some good bargains here. Just beware, getting in and out from Hwy 51 is often a challenge and drivers in the parking lot can be less than considerate. Also come early. If you get there after 2pm, many of the vendors have packed up and the best thing to buy is a $1 chocolate bar to support the Shriners Hospital. Mmmm good chocolate though and the money supports a great cause.
