  • Top of my agenda for the day read: Red Rock Casino. Google Map said 15 miles west of the strip. It said to take the 15 to this location. I drove in circles for quite sometime. When I get lost, usually the sun or the mountains help guide me, but in Vegas their are mountains every which way and the sun was directly above us! 15 miles turned into 30 miles. I finally called the Casino for directions. We were extremely far from our destination. You can't miss this HUGE resort. It's humongous. The casino is adjacent to the resort and spa. The water wall cascading into the pond next to a red rock wall caught my attention before entering this resort! The resort was warm and inviting. I think the Interior Designers who created the design concept were on a sugar rush. Red lush upholstery chairs, candy striped carpet with dark chocolate marble stone. Large crystal chandeliers were suspended above a 50-foot lobby bar area. It was like a sugar crush. Sheer curtains hugged the grand staircase. As you walk down you are greeted by high-top zebra wood tables with an up-lit onyx bar!! This hotel had tastefully yummy decor. I spent time lounging in the bar area and took many glamours shots of this hotel. I can't wait to come back and stay in the guest rooms someday ;) The lucky bar is a hidden secret. It's located in the middle of the casino. Wine velvet upholstered couches added a balance to the bright gold sunbeam lights on the ceiling. In conclusion, do not take the 15 fwy to this resort you'll end up in the wrong part of town. Take the 215 exit Charleston blvd.
