  • This place has really gone down hill. Higher prices, lower quality of food and service. My friends, family and I used to make trips to Pearl two or three times a week. However, we will not be returning to Pearl after our last couple experiences we had there. The service we experienced on our most recent visit was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. We went to Pearl around 7pm and the restaurant was only about half seated. It took the employees a few moments to finish up their personal chit-chat before coming over to greet us by muttering the phrase, "Inside or outside?" We chose to sit on the patio and were told to pick any spot we wanted. It took the server who "seated" us roughly five minutes to return to the table with our menus and didn't even bother to ask us what we would like to drink. When our rolls came two of the four were not what we ordered. We were told that if we wanted different rolls we were going to need to pay for the ones that were brought to our table BEFORE the correct ones we did order could be made. After much discussion with our server the correct rolls we ordered were finally dropped at our table with no apology. When the bill came we noticed extra charges and tried to speak with the server about some clarification but were only told, "it is what it is. You can call a manager tomorrow if you have a problem." We will not be coming back to Pearl anymore and will encourage others to avoid this place as well.
