Horrible experience that cost me my best friend. I brought my 4 year old dog who was fully covered by pet insurance in two days in a row. Day 1 I was told to try a bland diet. Day 2 I brought her back as she was declining and was told that the pancreatitis test was a false negative. Bringing her back again for day 3 (which never came) was recommended if she continued to decline. I lost my beautiful best friend that night as her body shut down. The emergency vet diagnosed her disease after running blood work. While I understand mistakes happen, the vets records that I requested indicated I denied blood work. Someone coming for help TWO days in a row who paid about 1k a year in pet insurance but then denied bloodwork defies logic. The lack of urgency here is something I live with everyday. I wish more than anything I knew to bring her right to another vet after leaving. I commend the rescue work the head vet does but am living with the pain of losing my dog as a result of her employee's decision to send a very sick dog home without the proper care.
