I would hate to rate an establishment based on its employees but here at the museum they are your only human interaction, they set the mood for your experience. The older gentlemen in front could use some customer service training. He was not accomodating or friendly. Granted I was using a groupon discount but because I had 6 in my family, without given a choice, he picked which 4 people were able to use the groupon. I paid for an adult admisson when I shouldve paid for a child admission. When I tried to mention anything he cut me off and said well your 2 year old is free and slammed the cash register closed. The building is jammed packed with artifacts and beautifully maintained vehicles and equipment. I wasnt going to let him put a damper on my experience. Not much for hands on except 1 fire truck you could sit in and some helmets you could try on. The guidebooks could be updated lots of information and small print to read. All in all we enjoyed just looking at everything. When we ended our tour my boys were eager to purchase something from their cute little gift shop but we were greeted by the same grumpy man with his hands on his hips and watched like a hawk the entire time. The museum was beautiful but that gentlemen ruined our 1st experience.
