Such a great hike for those seeking a nice cardio workout. It's scenic and out there enough to make you feel like you are out of town....kinda. Go early, there's ample parking but this is a popular spot in nice weather (although nothing like either camelback mountain trail). If you're lucky, you can see the fountains of Fountain Hills once you get into that shoulder-esque part of the hike (after lots of uphill and you feel like dying) before heading to the thumb.
Go to the Four Seasons after to eat and drink back all the calories your burned!
