Alex, in service is great. Took parents car in for oil change & to buff the bumper. A lady backed into their parked car so got the bumper repaired by the Hyundai salespersons recommendation, Miriam, located at the dealership on Mondays. I live thirty minutes from this location, but took his recommendation.
I should not have cause it looked like they painted over the scratches & it was not done correctly so I brought it back a second Monday. It was fixed & painted correctly, but Miriam needed me to bring it back in to get buffed. I arrive the next Monday & she asked what were we there for cause they don't paint today, only buff? Hello, that is what I am here for. Does anyone take notes on clients or appointments anymore.
After getting the complimentary shuttle, which does not pick you back up, she calls cause she can't find the car. Then, she calls back & says they accidentally buffed the bumper too much so will have to repaint it on a Monday that they are painting. Wtf.
The next day, mind you I just got the oil changed, the low tire button comes on. Did they check tire pressure?
Also, Hyundai is totally backwards in the loaner car department. You must call days before to secure one, then they close at 4p on Saturday & all day Sunday so you're screwed if your appointment is on a Monday. My car dealership, since 2011 does not operate like this so I am comparing them to a highly reputable place.
Now, being that the job was not done correctly this has turned into a headache, waste of gas, & not to mention mileage on this brand new car. Fingers crossed that this ordeal will be fixed after the FIFTH appointment, five hours plus out of our time & they will never see us again.
