I have been coming here for quite a while, and this will forever be my favorite Pittsburgh lunch spot. The owner almost always greets me directly, even if I haven't been in town for quite a while. Admittedly, the service is a bit slow, but I'm never in a hurry when I'm there.
The shawarma is always great, but I've been getting the kafta b'tahini for quite a while. It's spicy, salty, rich, and always piping hot. Couldn't recommend it more. The prepared items (in the case) are also great as take-home snacks (and discounted on Sundays.)
