My husband and I dined here on our anniversary last week. I usually love the food there. When we go by ourselves we sit near the bar. This time the food was a little different. The first thing I noticed was that the veggies were different. When we dine in the hibachi side the veggies are fresh, chopped in large pieces or whole, and grilled to perfection. This time on the bar side the veggies were chopped in tiny squares and there weren't very many. They seemed like frozen veggies, very soggy. I got the chicken and steak combo. The chicken also looked like bagged frozen bits of chicken vs the hibachi side where they cook it and chop fresh right in front of you. The steak was Ok but slightly fatty. Lastly, the meat tasted like it had a propane type of flavor. Not sure how to explain it other than it tasted like it was cooked over some type of gas. Overall it was a disappointment. $70 dinner for 2 on our anniversary and it was no where near the quality it used to be.
One positive note though! Our waitress was really sweet, very attentive and did a great job! That definitely counts for something!
