| - Did the Haunting of Noriko one because I read good reviews of it. It wasn't exactly mind-blowing, and there are a couple of puzzles that are more a test of patience than logic, but there were some really exciting moments, especially near the end. Also required teamwork in interesting ways, for the most part. We went in with a pretty large group, and it was crowded. I'd say it'd be a lot better with about 6 people. There were so many people that they solved separate pieces and I didn't even get a chance to learn what the puzzle was or how they solved it, so I'm not even sure if I could solve it if I did it again. Also with so many people there isn't always something for each person to do, so they end up talking over each other and it gets very chaotic. That's part of the point of the exercise, but if you have more people than you need then what's the point?
Outside the escape rooms there's a nice lounge with snacks and drinks available for purchase and board games you can play while you're waiting.
If you pay full price, it's a bit much for only about an hour of entertainment, but it's a pretty unique experience.
The room was well-crafted for the most part, but they could put a bit more effort into making the experience more immersive. The floors were unpainted plywood, the walls had exposed cables and nails, etc. But the puzzle mechanisms were impressive and not trivial.
