| - Yelp 365 Challenge #141/365 (The Las Vegas Family Reunion Adventures)
Just like John T's review, my experience with Alamo was trouble-free. I booked my reservation online back in May for my July trip to Vegas because the deals were cheaper than Budget.
At first, I was looking for a 15 passenger van (which I should have booked right away back in April because it was going for $700 for the length of time I was staying in Vegas) but the prices were high. We had to settle for two SUV's since we had a party of 9 in my family alone.
Anyhow, once the shuttle dropped us off, we walked up to the counter to confirm that all information was taken care of and we were off to the 2nd level of the garage. Some of the guys directed us all the way down to the row of SUVs and shared that we could pick whatever car was in that row. Talk about feeling as if you were on the Price is Right when Bob Barker yells out, "You got a BRAND NEW CAAARRR!"
Granted, it was a rental but hey..you're in Vegas and your emotional excitement of winna winna chicken dinna goes with any deal that you get in Vegas besides gambling, right?
As we loaded up and drove out, we stopped by the exit gate, which the lady scanned the barcode, gave us a receipt as I showed her my ID card then inquired if I was heading to a restaurant or mall? We were looking for breakfast since it was about 8:00 in the morning and she gave me directions to the nearest Denny's.
How cool is that? From the shuttle service to the rental car, quality customer service!
