I was very disappointed in the service I received here. I just had moved to Charlotte and was looking for a new GYN and this was near my PCP so I decided to try it. I went for my yearly which is covered for free with my insurance, but then I received a bill in the mail about 2 months later. Apparently if you discuss anything other than yearly appointment details, which I'm pretty sure is a broad umbrella of things considering its a check up, you are charged another appointment fee. I literally spoke with her an additional 5 minutes to set up an another appointment to discuss my PCOS and have an ovary ultrasound. I was asked if I wanted to discuss anything else, so I did! You need tell your client you are going to charge them before asking them that question. When I checked out that day they said I was covered for my yearly and there was NO COPAY. I returned for my second appointment and paid cash for that appointment before I even got the "bill" for the first appointment which should be covered by insurance. I spent hours on the phone with their receptionist and CHS representatives trying to get this resolved and finally I stopped receiving a bill. I couldn't believe my ears when the representative told me that was the reason for the additional copay. You should be praising people for being responsible with their preventative care and not trying to make a quick buck off of them.
