| - I have been visiting this spa for three years. Yes it was the "Healing Touch" prior to being the "A Spa". The staff has worked very hard to satisfy the demands of Clark County and although they have a new name, they are the same staff and practice the same skills that they have always had. The language can be a problem sometimes but it's a "given" in most cultural settings like this. I do not understand how it is getting these recent bad reviews? When I first visited a reflexology spa in So cal I was a bit surprised that it was not a soft relaxing massage but learned quickly from going to various locations throughout Nevada, So Cal and also in an Asian country that it is a totally different technique. I do not make a habit of throwing money around but I always tip their staff $20. They work very hard for their money and I do not think that I would do it for anything less than $10. tip. I think anything lower is like an insult. Without putting anyone down for their negative comments, I just hope that they would switch positions and think how they would feel if they went to a foreign country and tried to run their business in their native ways. Seriously, I need to surrender myself to their customs when I frequent their establishments. If its massage, dining or whatever. At times, the other persons attitude may seem rude but there could a reason for it. And on our part... Ignorance, bad day, band wagon camaraderie, expectations or whatever can affect the outcome. We all have our opinions and we are entitled to them, I agree. My opinion is that "A Spa" is as good as any of them and there are many of us old & new customers that will continue to support them. I've never been there with anymore than the 2 of us but have been serviced from beginning to end within minutes. A couple of the latest reviews sound like a really bad experience and I guess I'd be mad too, but I got weekly massages there for a long long time and I am having a tough time accepting this because I have never experienced anything like this. I've had to wait a few times or if a worker didn't show up, I'd have to reschedule but then again, that happens in most workplaces. So, as a customer only (not associated with the business at all) I am sorry for your experiences and I wish you'd reconsider returning there. Now you have identified what you do not like and could address those issues. If not, that is your choice. My choice is that I will continue going there. My issues are my issues and I hope that nobody takes this as a personal attack on them because it's not. I'm just voicing my opinion. Sorry.
