As far as bars in the Cedar-Lee District goes this is the best if you're in the 20's-30's age range (I'm sure some older folks might dig it too). Good dive bar vibe, with a good selection of beers on tap and bottle/can, and the prices aren't high. The jukebox plays everything from pop hits to metal, which is nice... The bar can be almost empty to totally packed, just depends on the night and season. They have a back patio, which I think has a 2nd bar which might be seasonal (don't remember, I was drinking). But they have a bunch of picnic tables and smokers can step outside with their drink and have a butt. I'm not a fan of hipsters and the Social Room tends to have a far number of them. So if you're into the scene you might find some like minded folks, if you're not just bring some friends and have your own conversations. Or be bold and try to have a conversation with someone new. Hey drinking is involved... what's the worst that can happen. Anyways, solid bar that has good beer and mixed drinks at good prices.
