  • I haven't been in Charlotte very long...only two months and I must say it's truly culinary HELL! I didn't realize it was so hard to find any good food around here. I've eaten at the best of the best restaurants in most major U.S. cities so I know good food. With that said, this establishment is a really good place to nosh. The food is fresh and tastes a lot like real Italian food. While, I haven't tried their pizza, I do know that their calzones are delicious. They use 2 different types of cheeses and their dough is amazing. Fried cheese is also amazing! I've tried 3 pasta dishes and all were piping hot, fresh and delicious. Their pizza is next on my list as it's been REALLY difficult to find any really good pizza here. I found one place that has NY style pizza that's pretty good...Hawthorne's. I strongly disagree with any bad reviews this place has received. Maybe it's gotten better since their reviews, I don't know. I've always had good service here as well. For me to write a positive review really means something. Also, keep in mind, everyone's taste buds are different but I don't think you will be disappointed!
