I've had two piercings done by Becky and have come in another time to replace a piece of jewelry.
Becky is absolutely amazing! I've never felt so comfortable with a piercer before.
While Becky is fantastic, the rest of the experience at Chronic Ink is not. It's a very high traffic shop. I've had to wait over an hour and a half just to find out if she was even able to do the piercing I wanted.
I purchased a plain curved barbell from them when mine fell out. They charge $20 to install their own jewelry, which I've never heard of before. For changing jewelry purchased elsewhere, sure. But any other studio I've been to/know about, free or $5 is the norm for their own jewelry.
It was supposed to be internally threaded. When I got home, I went to put it in and found out it was external (I was surprised they would even carry externally threaded jewelry). I mentioned it the next time it was in and it was shrugged off.
I personally prefer a bit more of a private experience when I can have a chance to talk to the piercer and am not made to feel like an inconvenience.
So though Becky is absolutely amazing, I'd never go back to Chronic Ink.
