  • I tried Bachi Burger after reading many positive accounts of their food. Maybe it was all the hype and build up, but the experience was underwhelming (think I once had a lover say the same thing about me, but that's neither here nor there. what?). The Miyagi-san burger came out perfectly cooked, but it wasn't anything to jump for Jesus over. The truffle fries...man I do not know what to make of those. They seemed soggy and the truffle sauce tasted like gravy. Expensive gravy. Making matters worse wss that the service was bad, and I really hate saying that because any service industry position can be a real pain when dealing with the public. That being said, the server seemed rather disinterested and only stopped by to take the order and bring the bill (no refills or checking in to see how average the food was); it wasn't halfway full, either, and they appeared quite well staffed. Could've gotten her on a bad day, I suppose. Overrall, if you're looking for an overhyped burger delivered with unenthusiastic bristle, this is the place!
