Pretty great place on Willy Street with cool decoration. Looks like a tiny house. You enter from the side and can sit at the bar or a bunch of little platforms within.
Fare is Asian fusion but without the yuppiness or over-the-top decor of many such places. I had the pork buns, pork and chive dumplings, and pork ramen. Pork buns were sublime. I felt like I was eating a lightly melted stick of butter, only made out of pork!!! So tender and melt-in-mouthish. I'm still thinking about it. Pork and chive dumplings were dope, too. They came out really hot and super flavorful, great balance between the pork and the chive. Weirdly, the least impressive of the three was the ramen itself. A bit too much sodium for my taste, plus I wish the cuts of meat were thick (like in the appetizers) not thinly sliced. It definitely wasn't bad -- don't get me wrong -- but I'd actually stick to the non-ramen parts of things.
Desert was dope; some of it comes from Madison Sourdough across the street. I'm not gonna step on the scale tonight!!!
