  • I've tried just about all the top buffets in Vegas now that I recently was able to visit the Bacchanal. My rating is based on this buffet compared to all other buffets in Vegas--and even buffets everywhere else I've tried. I'm not going to mark stars down to compare a buffet to some fine dining Michelin star restaurant. I'm just reviewing this place as it is--a buffet, compared to other buffets. The Bacchanal is as great as you've heard and/or seen. The decor is not as chic or extravagant like others (Wynn, Wicked Spoon), but it's still a nice clean space. We got in right before the end of breakfast. There is no stoppage in service like some buffets--most notable being Wicked Spoon. Some places shut down so you can't stay during the transition. No problem here. We got unlimited mimosas as well. There are so many pictures already of the food from others. All I can say is it is a bit overwhelming. Everything looked and tasted pretty darn good for a buffet. The sushi actually tasted legit. The crab were all claws. They were Jonah Crab, and as mentioned all claws. The were always stocked and tasted great! The desserts were amazing. Including the gelato. I think Wicked Spoon may have a little better gelato, but its not that huge of a difference. Just like the food, I'm a bit overwhelmed on what to right about. There are so many reviews already so you have an idea what to expect. The staff was great, but maybe we got extra attention because we had that Diamond member VIP status? Yes you will be paying a pretty penny, but you have a lot of high quality food to pick from. You should already know yourself and your eating habits. If you don't think you will make the most from a buffet, then don't eat at one. Vegas is filled with a lot of fine dining spots. But if you are a buffet lover, be prepared to have this place become the standard in which you compare most other buffets. The only other "buffet" that is touted to be better than this is the "Sterling Brunch". That is the only other I have yet to try, and one day I will, when I'm ready to shell out $100 for it.
