  • Really wanted to like this place because my children's pediatrician, Dr. Ellen Giordano, is fantastic. She really listens, doesn't rush through, & is thorough. The front desk staff, nurses, nurse practitioners are very friendly, and helpful. They are the reasons why my family & I continued to go there. My children have been going to Adelante for almost 4 years now. My husband and I decided to go to another doctor's office due to our Primary Care Physicians leaving Adelante without notice. We were never told, the numerous times our doctors left, until we got to our appt & asked. The response, "Oh I'm sorry. Dr. So-and-So is no longer with Adelante." It was really concerning that it seemed Adelante could not keep doctors so we stopped going there and changed our PCPs. We continued to keep our kids with their pediatrician because she's great & is still there however, we are done with Adelante. I was sent to collections on a bill that I already paid. I called Adelante and the nice gal in Billing confirmed that it showed as being paid in their records too. Not to mention, they sent it to collections in my child's name. She's a minor! Why is an account being turned over to collections that's paid AND in the name of a minor?!? I had to have the collections agency change it to my name while I took care of this with Adelante so my daughter's credit does not get messed with. Also, I requested to get our records (we move around a lot since my husband's in the military and I like to keep records on hand each year just in case). I was told by Adelante that it would take 4-5 weeks. I checked in at 5 weeks and was told it was ready yet. It's been 4 months and counting, and still nothing. Extremely disappointed in Adelante. Save yourself the exasperation, frustration, and headaches. Do not come to Adelante!
