Was in the market for a used car a few months back, and they had just listed a nice Lexus ES350 for sale on their website and also on Car Gurus. I had 4 other cars I was looking at that afternoon and they were the closest, so I went there first. The lot is small, so I could easily see their whole inventory as well as what they had in the showroom. I circled the lot twice and they didn't have it! I parked my car, got on my phone to view the cars I had saved, just to make sure I was at the right place. As I was checking, a salesman walked up and knocked on my window. I asked about the ES350 and I got the usual "oh, that JUST sold" routine. mmmhmmm Suuuuuure, buddy. Whatever you say. I was then pressured into going into the showroom to see another Lexus which was listed at $10K more than what I wanted to spend. Ugh, its places like this that give used car dealers a bad name.
