rev:text	I've been to The Egg and I twice in the past two weeks. Conveniently located near Kayser Ford Lincoln, I've been able to have breakfast there while my car is serviced. Both times, my waitresses have been friendly, the service quick, and the food generally quite tasty (with a couple of minor exceptions.) On my first visit I had the Spicy Pear juice, an iced-tea, and the Parisian Benedict. The Spicy Pear juice is delicious and I highly recommend it. Pear, tangerine, lemon, ginger, agave and jalapeño. It's really zesty, not hot, and I can't get enough of it. The Parisian Benedict included mushrooms and Swiss cheese. The creamy hollandaise was exactly the perfect consistency. It came with a side of fresh greens with just the right amount of a light balsamic vinaigrette. I was really impressed with this dish. I loved everything about it. The only downside to that meal was the iced-tea. It tasted stale and flat. On my second visit I again had the Spicy Pear juice. This time I ordered the biscuit, eggs and gravy. The biscuit and gravy were heavenly. Thick, creamy, flavorful sausage gravy over yummy biscuits. Loved this. However, it was served with seasoned ranch potatoes. These were a miss. The potatoes were just warm, needed to be cooked longer, and really didn't have much flavor. I was able to add some zest with the hot-sauce at the table. Next time, I would ask if I could get the greens instead of the potatoes. The poached eggs were slightly overcooked, not the viscous liquid they should be. Nevertheless, the dishes which were good were very good. With the friendly service, the speedy delivery, the free wifi, and the convenient location I am sure to be back.
