This place is a joke. My husband was referred to Dr.Mendelson after a CT scan revealed that he had some cysts in his sinuses. Somehow the scans did not make it to Dr.Mendelson's for the first appointment and we had to schedule another appointment weeks later. Not sure who dropped the ball there but anyway.... My husband had stressed that he had been experiencing a lot of anxiety about the procedure but the doctor said they would complete an allergy test, review the scans and discuss a treatment plan in the next visit. It would be taken care of in couple of weeks. We were so stressed out leading up to the appointment not knowing whether surgery would be needed. Also, his primary care doctor had used the term 'usually benign' during the visit which was terrifying. So two weeks later we had both taken the day off for the appointment and Dr.Mendelson wasn't there. The staff said he was only scheduled for an allergy test and that Dr.Mendelson couldn't see him for a few days. After weeks of stressing and getting mentally prepared to talk about treatment he wasn't even there. We couldn't believe it. We ended up just taking the scans, reports and notes so we could see another doctor (we were not going to deal with this again) and right there in the doctor's notes it said 'he has an appointment for an allergy test. Will go over the scans then'. This definitely is as not a miscommunication - it was a no show. I would recommend avoiding this doctor if you're looking to actually be treated.
