| - Between being charged for services not provided, being promised refunds of said charges and being lied to or ignored by corporate "customer service" representative overseeing all of the Charlotte, NC area locations (who we were told is the only person authorized to correct, refund or cancel said charges) I would tell anyone considering dealing with this company to do more research as to who these people are. Check the number of complaints with BBB, local and national television news stories, and a whole host of other complaints for unethical business practices.
My wife signed up for a basic package and personal training at the beginning of July, 2015. Part of the sales presentation she was given included a strong emphasis that if she didn't like what services they provided, they have a 45-day, 100% satisfaction guarantee. She suffered an illness/injury later the same month and we asked that the personal training services be suspended until her doctor cleared her to go back to them. They promised the charges for August would not go through and they would not continue until she was cleared by her doctor.
After being charged at the beginning of August, we asked for the charges to be refunded. We were promised that they were being credited back and additional charges were being suspended as previously agreed. Several days later, after not seeing the credit, we went back and were told we needed to speak with the local area "Customer Service director" Cindy as she was the only person authorized to refund charges and/or suspend service charges.
With even less help from Cindy (try talking to someone who spends a whole conversation asking a question and then talking over you when you try to answer it), and email correspondence being ignored, we have filed a complaint with the BBB and intend to proceed with further complaints with the Attorney General for predatory sales and business practices.
