The store manager, Deb, helped me out today, and refunded my money, and for that I am grateful.
The issue I had was that I was looking at the photos on their website when I called in to place an order for delivery. Apparently, their website is run by a third-party, and the arrangements that are sent out by the florist do not always match the pictures on the website.
(In the case of my order, the PHOTO on the website showed one type of flower, with a yellow center, but the DESCRIPTION of the arrangement listed a different type of flower, with a black center.)
I am not sure why this would be the case, but I prefer to have less artistic license taken when I have preselected an arrangement.
Often, I will call and allow the florist to make an arrangement just by me giving them a budget. But, that is not what I did this time.
My advice is, if it is your desire to have a specific arrangement with specific flowers sent, be cautious if you are making a selection off of their website.
