Like other reviews state, it will still always be "the Jake" to me.
The difference between 4 and 5 stars is where you sit. This last time we sat in the upper level. Not all the vendors are open on that level and there is NO DRAFT BEER- well, there is the capability of having it, but those stands were all closed the day we were there- only cans on the upper level, and disappointingly only shitty beers like Bud Light and Summer Shandy or whatever that stuff is. No craft brews. You have to go to the lower level for that.
Conversely, the lower level has a variety of vendors, and some really good ones at that! Better beer selection. Better food selection. And possibly even some shaded seating areas on a hot day.
And the highlight of the hot dog culture, unique to Cleveland: Stadium Mustard! I believe even Michael Symon serves this in his restaurants, because it is just so good and the epitome of Cleveland condiments.
Just pick the right seats and you will be in for a fantastic day.
Either way, it's a beautiful ballpark and there really isn't a bad vantage point for watching the game.
