J & Js is your classic home town dinner. I've been here several times and never had a bad meal. The service is always great and home cooked food is comforting. Even if I go for breakfast, I am sure to get a cup of whatever the homemade soup of the day is, because it's always excellent. Prices are reasonable and they have a wide menu selection. There is just something about their toast that I love, not sure if it's the bread or butter, or maybe a combination of both, but you've got to try it! Italian or wheat. I also love the stuffing bread that comes with the hot turkey. If you have a large group though, this place is not for you. Seating is limited as they only have maybe 12 tables. My husband & I really love J & Js and will continue to go there as long as we live in the Pittsburgh area!
