Going against your initial ordering instinct will get you every time! The Summerlin location of Lola's is beautiful- much nicer than the one downtown. Think upper crust New Orleans rather than Bourbon Street. Service was attentive as well.
But my Shrimp Po Boy ($12.99) was a misstep, unfortunately. The bread was fine, there was enough shrimp (although the sandwich as a whole was a bit on the small side), but it was super salty. Not spicy, just salty. The tartar sauce even was salty. I definitely should have gone with the catfish and grits, as was my original plan.
The bread basket was good, warm and buttery, so that was at least pleasant. Despite the po boy, I'll return, but just will order something else.
Perhaps just an off day... Eaux.
