  • Stone Oaks is a great apartment community. We were really sold on the place the day we decided to move there because, in particular, one of the members of staff, Angel, is extremely competent but also a really nice guy. We felt that if we had a problem, he would be able to handle it and after living here for 9 months, this has remained true. The rest of the office staff have also been excellent. They are always very helpful, friendly and willing to face problems head on. The maintenance staff are extremely on the ball. Anything that has broken down in a serious way has been fixed within hours and anything more minor within a day or two. They also take excellent care of the pool, gym and grounds and are the kind of people I feel comfortable letting into my apartment. In particular, José is simply the world's best handy man. We feel really lucky to have him. Other residents have commented to us that they really value his work, too. The pool and gym have recently been redone and they are just fantastic. The brand new gas grills are also superb. We've used them to make everything from the usual burgers to more exotic things like pizzas and fajitas and they work very well. As for the apartments themselves, ours has a great floor plan and the appliances are of a good quality. The whole property is very tastefully decorated, as are the apartments themselves. The location being very near Chandler Fashion Center has been very convenient. I highly recommend this community.
