  • In response to Loren: 1. Joe did not recommend the factory unit. Joe just gave me two options. I chose the far cheaper ($1400 vs $200). He even agreed with me. No warning whatsoever given that my mileage my increase. Yes, I understand used parts may fail...as they are used. But may increase my mileage? No. 2. "Our suppliers told us they did not have another one to replace it with" Then why did you guys (Jeremy) tell me you tried 6 different units? Obviously a lie. 3. I elected to have a guy who comes highly recommended from the P38 Range Rover forums to fix what you guys could not. And he did so. And he showed me what data was on the unit when received, which included my mileage. I even emailed it to you guys as proof. The car is running now thanks to him, not you. And he told me what you guys should have done if you knew what you were doing, or if your "supplier" knew what they were doing. THE MILEAGE SHOULD HAVE FIRST BEEN ZEROED OUT ON THE BECM BEFORE YOU PLUGGED IN THE UNIT TO MY CAR. SINCE IT WAS NOT MY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TOOK THE HIGHER OF THE TWO. Mistakes happen. If you guys had just said "we're sorry...this is what we did wrong" I would have accepted that. But why I'm on here, beyond the rude receptionist, is that you want to claim you did nothing wrong. And you guys also implied that I must be lying about the mileage on my car because what I described what happened couldn't possibly happen. 4. I never said that I "did not understand why you guys did not do the same." I just happen to do it myself. It never bothered me that you guys didn't do the research I did, in fact I wouldn't even expect you to. Beyond all of this, what about all the missing plastic parts in the vehicle? Your work invoice I received a copy of outlined every little defect discovered on my car to cover yourselves before the work began. Yet none of the missing parts in the car were listed and were so obvious. And Drew agreed to replace the plastic grommets, and that's all I was asking for in the end. And if someone had just called me back (regarding the plastic grommets) instead of me having to chase Jeremy and Drew down, I wouldn't be inclined to write all of this. The "maybe no one here wants to talk to you" I got from you after my 5th call to you guys was uncalled for....and literally added gross insult to injury.
