  • I really really enjoyed my experience at Union Hair Parlor. Karlijn was really great at building rapport with me, as a new client, which I appreciated. I consider myself low maintenance as far as hair is concerned, and I generally am open-minded about making changes to my hair. I went in for more or less of a trim but wanted to decrease the bulk on the bottom of my hair as my layers were growing out. One question Karlijn asked as she worked on my hair that really impressed me was: "What was it about your last haircut/stylist that made it great?" This allowed her to get to know more about what makes a quality haircut for each client, and that is an invaluable skill. Instead of pushing product, Karlijn provided some good hacks for working with my new bangs using blow-dry styling techniques. I can highly recommend Karlijn as a stylist! Aside from my haircut experience, the waiting area was awesome. Lots of fun books and games, including a tabletop version of bean bag toss. I can see children and adults of all ages enjoying their time at Union!
