  • Such a huge disappointment. My husband and I just recently purchased annual passes to Shark Reef for $100, as recommended by some friends and let me tell ya BIG MISTAKE. The aquarium is so humid and super small, its no Seaworld. It took us about 15 mins to walk thru the entire aquarium, thats w/ taking some pics and stopping at the little sting ray touch pool. Ugh, what a waste of $100. And it only gets worse, The Sea Monsters Revealed Exhibit was just a dark room of bones. Sorry folks, my 3 year old wasn't feeling the whole Shark Reef experience, he didn't enjoy being in the dark so much. He did however enjoy the little touch pool and liked pushing the buttons in the Sea Monsters Exhibit, not really sure if he was supposed to be touching any of the buttons & knobs but anything to entertain him. I think it would help if they added more hands-on interactive displays for the little ones. Save your money folks, not worth $20 for a single day ticket & definitly not worth $50 for the annual pass. Can't wait until MGM properties start charging for parking, that will just be the icing on the cake!
