Whoever answered the phone when I tried to report a loose animal was not very friendly or professional, and could really use a refresher on customer service skills. Seemed like she really wanted to get me off the phone and could not care less about what I was calling to report. Of course, she did not answer the phone with any greeting or identification, besides Cleveland Police Department. I would think that they would be more appreciative of citizens calling to report something, when they really do not have to. Just very taken aback at the level of rudeness and unprofessionalism. If I answered the phone at my job, or spoke to my clients the way I was spoken to, I would not be employed. Also, makes me think twice before calling about a concern in the future.
Just FYI, I first called Cleveland Animal Control (who was completely useless and just as rude), who told me they cant do anything and to call Ohio Wildlife, who then told they cant do anything either and to just report it CPD.
