Seriously second guessing my patronage with AA. Flight was late from storm and missed my connecting flight, which was understandable considering weather. However, we sat on the Tarmac for almost 30 minutes waiting for door for them to pull into. Then we got in line at the customer service counter with about 45 people ahead of us. After 30 minutes in line, one of the reps grabbed her backpack and walked off, leaving one girl to now deal with 10 people ahead of us and the 60 people behind us. The supervisor walked by and told us he would be right back. NEVER SAW HIM AGAIN. The girl got us set up for the next day's flight and a voucher for a discounted room. Unfortunately, we couldn't even use it because the hotels were all booked. Forced to spend the night in the airport.
Next day update: So we caught the first first flight out of Charlotte and landed in Huntsville, sadly our bags didn't. Not just ours, but also about 7 other people. How can an airline screw this up. Last flight in to Charlotte- first flight out....... Now we have to wait anywhere from 1:30 to 7 pm. Gods thing we came down for my fathers funeral two days earlier.
